History
Founded in 1946, the Detroit chapter’s first governing board included Peter Fujioka, president; Dr. John Koyama, first vice president; Dr. Isamu Nieda, second vice president; Shu Miho, treasurer; Aiko Hamaguchi, corresponding secretary; Michi Obi, recording secretary; Doris Sese, historian; Sam Hada, delegate-at-large; Willis Hirata, alternate delegate.
